Why do Afro Americans treat black\ mixed people like they belong to their culture and share their politics?

I am mainly talking about foreigners. They ( black Americans) have a museum dedicated to their race\culture, but a lot of the things in there are about other cultures whose view of life is vastly different from theirs. Afro Americans are a culture all by themselves. Nobody likes to be abducted. Race and culture is not a collective experience!
