If my lecturer does a cl survey to see who actually likes the..? ?

process of writing and some are apathetic, others dislike it and a few such as myself put up our hands to the stance that we rather like writing and then she reacting to me looks surprised..what does that mean? You know, she does that eyebrow raise thing? Does she think I want to be a writer or she is surprised by my response in my standard of writing? What does it mean? I often get a 1st in my essays, so why did she looked surprised in me raising my hand?
