If you have knowledge of or attend Pepperdine, I need your help!?

When I go to college, I plan on majoring in law. I am a freshman in high school, but I feel that I should get a head start on college early. I already signed up for Modern Civilizations over summer, but I am still indecisive on whether I should take AP Euro next year. Most of the people I asked who have taken it tell me that it is not an important course, and that it is just extremely hard work that has no effect in college. If taking this course will help me get into Pepperdine that much, I would definitely consider taking it. All answers are appreciated! :)
