How To Create A Video For Youtube?

My friends have told me that I'm good at singing and I wanna know if it's true. So I recorded myself singing a song using my cell phone. But I don't want people to see what I look like, so I didn't record it in video form. It's a .wav file, and there are no pictures or whatever. But when I tried to upload it onto Youtube, the video wasn't viewable. So I guess I have to create a video or something? What should I do? Help please?
