Why am I not allowed to dislike "A Clockwork Orange"?

Why am I not allowed to dislike "A Clockwork Orange" without being regarded as an idiot? I sat through it twice, giving it TWO solid chances, and all I got out of it was a headache and a severe desire to bring Stanley Kubrick back from the dead so I could kick his @ss for stealing 2 hours from me.
