To my christian friends out in the community,why is it such a big deal to have a female pastor,and also why do

I've always wondered the same thing. The Bible does state that the woman should not be in leadership position, but people don't understand that was the culture during that time. Things are different now, and God can use anyone for his will. My pastor is a woman, and I am completely fine with it. I actually respect women pastors more because they have to deal with stupid judgemental hard nosed Chrsitains all the time.
