I think you should just ask her out! Girls aren't the most patient of when it comes to crushes or interests especially if it feels like wer'e getting mixed signals. In college as well there are so many different opportunities that hanging onto just one person is something girls usually do in middle school etc. But you should try asking her out because it seems that she still has some hope for you : ) You never know until you try right?
