Jeep wrangler tj radiator trouble?

anyone else out there with a wrangler tj had radiator trouble ? i noticed that mine was leaking and i couldn't figure out where, then i noticed that the top section was simply crimped on to the center section and it was leaking from there. a freind suggested smashing the crimps back down with a pair of pliers, but i have also read about some 3 core radiators that are supposed to cool better anyway. has anyone had this problem? was there a recall on tj radiators? i haven't found anything yet. i live in the desert and use the jeep a lot i am thinking of gong with the 3 core anyway , but would like some answers , thanx.
