How do I remove a mirror attached to a wall with adhesive?

We bought our home last year and I decided to change the mirror in the guest bathroom. I removed the screws and clips holding it in place, but it is still stuck to the wall by some adhesive. It is firmly attached to the wall, so what do I do to remove the gl short of breaking it?
